The source base of the project is comprised by transport amphorae discovered in the following sites located in ancient Nea Paphos (today Kato Paphos):

Agora (Jagiellonian University, director Professor E. Papuci-Władyka)

Maloutena (University of Warsaw, director until 2007 Professor W. A. Daszewski, Dr. H. Meyza since 2008)

House of Orpheus (University of Cyprus, director Professor D. Michaelides)
